After Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura told the court how it all started, Britney Spears was brought into the Diddy trial.
Diddy’s federal court trial in New York is currently underway, and numerous witnesses have testified against him.
The 55-year-old is accused of two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, one act of racketeering, and two counts of transporting someone to engage in prostitution. He has refuted every allegation.
Among the celebrities cited are Mike Myers, Kid Cudi, Michael B. Jordan, and Kanye West.
Although these celebrities have not been charged with any crimes, jurors were warned that their names might be mentioned.
On May 5, West was mentioned after he posted a videotaped chat with Diddy on social media in which the disgraced rapper cautioned West to “be cautious” of those who were trying to “end” him.
Although Mike Myers was mentioned as a possible subject of interest throughout the trial, he has not been charged with any crimes, and it is currently unknown how close he is to Diddy.
Another well-known person that was brought up before the jury was Michelle Williams.
Ventura, the rapper’s ex-girlfriend of ten years, brought up a number of famous people.
They brought up Michael B. Jordan, who was most likely related to Diddy through his 2016 relationship with Cassie Ventura.
Kim Porter, who tragically passed away from pneumonia in 2018 and whose name was brought up to jurors along with Drake and French Montana, is the mother of Diddy’s three children. According to Ventura, she had to wear her hair a certain manner to conceal a supposed injury that Diddy had given her when she attended the Canadian rapper’s 2013 OVO Festival in Toronto.
The mother of 2 also mentioned Prince, when she recalled going to his private concert in his Los Angeles home, claiming: “He [Diddy] would have definitely not let me go,”
Combs was reportedly spotted by Ventura shortly after his arrival.
“Caught a glimpse of him and [she] ran out as fast as [she] could,” she said.
“I knew he was angry at me,” she testified, claiming he went to the hotel where she was staying and be*t her.
She also brought up Kid Cudi, also known as Scott Mescudi, whom she said she met and dated in December 2011.
She said Diddy threatened her with a wine bottle opener after he saw this on her phone.
Britney Spears’ involvement in the crime was disclosed by Ventura. She said Diddy took Britney Spears to a Las Vegas party for her 21st birthday. Singer Dallas Austin was also invited to the celebration by the rapper. Since their relationship was platonic at this point and she was dating Ryan Leslie at the time, Ventura had previously disclosed that he had kissed her at this event, which had perplexed her.
In addition, she revealed some horrific details about their ten-year relationship, claiming that he was abusive, domineering, and obsessed with voyeurism.
When the jury was shown five pictures of the strange gatherings where Ventura was present, they looked serious.
To prevent the public or media from seeing, privacy sheets were placed on top of the screens that the jurors were handed.
When he was shown the pictures, one juror’s eyebrows went upward, and another juror’s head shifted from side to side in disbelief.
A fourth man juror covered his mouth in disbelief, and another male juror double-taken the pictures.
Since the pictures and video stills are currently evidence that is under seal, the gallery is not being shown them.
Ventura described the pictures in a flat voice, seemingly unaffected by what he saw.
The first witness to testify was Daniel Phillip, a former male escort who received hundreds of dollars to have sex with Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura, also known as Cassie.
Currently significantly pregnant, Ventura described the harrowing events in her own words, including a CCTV-captured sequence in which Diddy dragged her around a hotel floor.
On the stand on Tuesday, the “Me & U” singer shared, “He wanted me to have a nickname for him,”, “He asked me what I called my grandfather, and I said I called him Pop Pop.”
She added that she found it “weird at the time.”, “But now I think it’s just disrespectful,” she said.
Later on during her testimony, she added “He would bash me on my head, knock me over, drag me, kick me, stomp me on the head if I was down,”.
“I also felt at certain times … I knew it wasn’t even about me … [I would] make the wrong face and the next thing I knew I was getting hit in the face,” she said.
She broke down in tears, explaining “His look would just change over, he would just become a different person,” she added. “The best way to describe it is his eyes just go black. The version that I was in love with is no longer there.”
“I was in love and I just wanted to make him happy,” Ventura said, adding, “It basically entails the hiring of an escort and setting up this experience so that I could perform for Sean.”
She revealed more horrifying information, such as the bodily fluids that were purportedly exchanged throughout the festivities.
“I was expected to have freak offs on my period. He wanted that and I did not want to do that,” Ventura said, according to NBC News, “Blood would get on the linens.”
She also detailed Combs allegedly making a male escort urinate in her mouth during one party: “It was a turn on for him, so it happened,” she added “I just felt humiliated. It was disgusting. It was too much. I choked. I didn’t want to be doing that. I was in a position I couldn’t easily get out of. I eventually put my hands up and Sean saw and told him to stop. I was choking—too much urine in my mouth. Sean urinated on me at the same time.”
She added, “I was squeamish immediately, but high in the moment. That’s about it. You don’t have a lot of control at that moment.”
The singer gave some insight into the baby oil as well. At the events, she said, everyone would coat their entire body with baby oil, and there was even one time when she entered “a pool filled with baby oil.”
“Sean wanted it heated and he wanted it to be glistening so we applied every five minutes,” she testified, “If Sean wanted it to happen, that was what was going to happen, there was no way around it. We used 10 bottles of baby oil, regular size.”
“I didn’t want him to be upset or not trust me,” she testified. “He was a scary person, he would be violent.”
She added that Diddy made her have sex with other men in front of him.
Ventura talked about her favourite aspect of “freak-off” parties.
Breaking down, she said, “The time spent with him,” adding that it was the only time she got to spend with him at that time.
“I felt disgusting. I was humiliated. I didn’t have the words to put together at the time how horrible I really felt, and I couldn’t talk to anybody about it,” Ventura added.
She went on, saying she tried to ‘gently’ explain that she no longer wanted to partake in the freak off parties: “I didn’t want to upset him or make him angry with me for even sharing it,” she said. “But I would just tread it lightly when I brought it up. Sometimes I would email him about it. I didn’t want anything bad to happen.”
The 38-year-old revealed that Diddy had rules about how she may dress and look during the events, and that they occasionally went on for four days.
She also described in detail their first sexual encounter, saying she was administered ec*tasy before it took place on a Miami boat.
The singer is currently married to Alex Fine, a personal trainer, and the two of them have two kids together, with a third on the way.
