Being photographed is a fairly common occurrence for celebrities. And it’s very much the same for someone like Goldie Hawn. Hawn is used to being scrutinized by the public having been in the spotlight since 1969 when she starred in Cactus Flower.
With time, the actress’s fame only grew. Afterwards, she married Gus Trikonis, and then Bill Hudson. The two men had entertainment jobs as well.

When paparazzi snapped 78-year-old Goldie Hawn in her swimsuit while she was on vacation, social media users reacted strongly to the image. Her appearance sparked strong opinions from many people on the internet.
The actress and actor Kurt Russell have been together since 1983. In addition to helping raise Goldie’s two children from her former marriage, Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, Russell also shares a kid with the woman.
“I love her but I hate the color and style of this swim suit I believe a little tanning cream just saying,” one commenter wrote, criticizing the actress’ lack of tan.
A user commented, “There comes a time when you should not wear some suits or shorts anymore,” in response to criticism of her swimsuit selection.
Another commented, “This is an amazing photo!,” praising the actress for looking amazing for her age of 78. When I’m 78, I really, really hope that I can walk along the beach in a bathing suit and a small cover and not care what other people think! I think she’s gorgeous!
Some were even more irate by the disparaging remarks, saying, “My God, people, leave her alone.” Her appearance belies her age. The tale is over!
The actress doesn’t feel self-conscious about growing older.
“Getting older is a fact of life,” she remarked. Living intentionally helps you recognize that life is full of transformations, which you simply have to go through, the celebrity told People. “You know what, it’s great that you’re getting older? It means you’re still alive!”
However, she is well aware of the ageism that permeates the field and its supporters.
“You think you’re going to fight the system? When you turn forty-five, you believe you’re going to show Hollywood that you’re still a desirable, marketable object? No. There’s an actuality, Hawn said to Bazaar. Does it infuriate me? No. I don’t get irritated easily. I’m not an extremist. Anger is a useless emotion. It isn’t beneficial.
While another appreciated the actress and how well she looked for 78 years old, they wrote, “This is an amazing photo! I hope like HELL when im 78 i can stroll the beach in a bathing suit and a tiny cover and not gaf what anyone else thinks! 
i think shes beautiful!”
Others were more frustrated with the negative comments, “My God people, leave her alone. She looks great for her age. End of story!”
The actress herself, has no qualms about getting older.
She said, “Getting older is a fact of life. By living mindfully, you understand that there are many transitions in life, [and] you just have to go through them,” the star told People. “It’s wonderful to know that you’re aging because that means you’re still on the planet, right?”
But she is very aware of the age bias that exists in the industry and among its fans
“You think you’re going to fight the system? You think you’re going to prove to Hollywood when you hit 45 that you’re still a sexy, viable object? No. There’s a certain reality,” Hawn told Bazaar. “Does it make me angry? No. I’m not an angry person. I’m not a militant person. Anger doesn’t get you anywhere. It’s not productive.”
